Vista Veterinary Specialists is a 24-hour veterinary hospital providing emergency and specialized care for companion animals. We were founded on the principle that our pets deserve the highest level of compassionate care. To this end, we are committed to creating and maintaining a facility that allows our doctors and staff to meet the medical needs of our patients while also providing superior customer service to our clients and referring veterinarians.
We do not provide general practice services. Rather, we partner with your primary veterinarian to provide specialized multidisciplinary care and emergency services 24 hours a day.
Open 365 days a year, 24 hours per day, we offer state-of-the-art technology and exceptional patient care in Sacramento, California.
Dogs and cats referred to Vista by a referring veterinarian will be treated only for the condition for which they were referred. No routine procedures, such as vaccinations or heartworm testing, will be performed on any referral or referral emergency patient.

Vista Veterinary Specialists is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and referral practice providing both specialized and emergency care for dogs and cats.
Our hospital features digital radiography suites, MRI and CT suites, state-of-the-art operating rooms, and an ICU. We offer a full-service in-hospital laboratory, neurosurgery suite, corneal transplants, Echocardiogram & Electrocardiogram (ECG), transfusion medicine, ultrasound, and video scoping.
Vista Veterinary Specialists provides referral services in the specialties of Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.
