About

Dr. Aimee Parr grew up in Sacramento, CA before heading to the wine country for her undergraduate degree in Biology. Not surprisingly, she fell in love with the wine and the area and decided to stay there after graduating in order to further pursue her career in veterinary medicine. She decided to go back to school to become a certified technician, which allowed her the time to dabble in different departments including general practice, exotics, dermatology and finally emergency medicine. She then left wine country to pursue her veterinary dream in Arizona. When she graduated from vet school, she felt lucky that she had matched with an internship program back in her hometown and was excited to go back. During the year of her internship, she continued to focus on emergency medicine and was excited to be able to accept a job that allowed her to continue in that department.

In her free time, Aimee enjoys playing soccer on a co-ed team, walking and exploring with her dog, Dezzy Lu, being around her family again, and continuing to go wine tasting. She also enjoys crime dramas, thriller novels and has recently picked up rock climbing, cornhole and bocce ball!
