Dr. Rutherford is available Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., and also available on case-by-case basis for upper GI foreign body endoscopy.

Dr. Rutherford’s services include rhinoscopy, GI endoscopy, and cystoscopy. Even though she loves all aspects of internal medicine and considers herself to be a “jack of all trades,” she has a special interest in gastrointestinal disorders, endocrinology, and infectious diseases.

Dr. Rutherford graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2012 and completed a rotating internship at VCA Veterinary Care and Referral Center in Albuquerque, NM, along with a specialty internship in internal medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX. She spent her IM Residency at LSU. When not in the hospital, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, gardening, upcycling, and fishing.
