Dr. Tanner Talan is an Elk Grove native. He attended CSU, Chico where he studied ecology and animal biology prior to receiving his DVM at the University of California, Davis. During his time at Davis, he was active in disaster response and international wildlife research in addition to his studies. After graduating, he completed his rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital, North County in San Diego. Dr. Talan is returning to Northern California with his cat, Peggy, and dog, Domino. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, playing soccer, and pursuing his passions in disaster response.
